During this period of uncertainty, Walton Youth & Community Project is committed to continuing to provide support to young people, their families and the local community. For those that follow us on social media, you will be aware that all of our provision has been moved online and that all staff are now working from home and the North Liverpool Award Centre on City Road is now closed. Although we are working from home, our Negotiated Education Programme, Youth Night’s and 1-1’s are still running, but in an online/virtual capacity. Detached sessions have been cancelled.

Through using our online learning platform, staff remain able to safeguard young people and support their personal, social and emotional development. Mental health and wellbeing is extremely important to all at Walton Youth and our practice has placed great emphasis on this since our existence, but we are spending even more time now supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing during this difficult time.

All of our staff are available for online 1-1’s if any young person, or anyone from the wider community feels that they need some support. We have already been able to support a number of young people and their families who have been in touch with us. If you would like to speak to any of the staff, please get in touch on social media, or by emailing support@waltonyouthproject.co.uk.

Stay Safe!
